Kayla Jean-Baptiste is a seventeen year old high school senior from Queens, New York. Jean-Baptiste gained an interest in photography because of her fascination of capturing the imperfect moments that can be easily overlooked. She utilizes photography as a creative outlet from her athletic commitments. Jean-Baptiste encouraged others to take an interest in photography, for photography is an opportunity for self-expression (especially if you think you’re not artistic).
